It stuns me that I still manage to discover the existence of a new country now and then. I had previously thought that the East African island nations solely consisted of Madagascar, Mauritius, and the Seychelles. Turns out there is additionally a nation called Comoros situated between Mozambique and Madagascar in the Mozambique channel.
Sure, there are countries whose flags I will not recognize, there are countries whose names I cannot recall off the top of my head, but to think that one can still learn about entirely new nations after already having been exposed to a wealth of information over two decades of existence — I find that rather stunning.
Oh, how little do I know!
